Dawn runs Ink and Bone Alchemy, where she creates and sells original, limited edition screenprints, monotypes and drawings; bags and pouches; and original jewelry.

From the founder: "While I am still able to make art while sheltering-in-place, my ability to get supplies and work off-site are limited. 5) Janine Mapurunga - Mapurunga Photography

Photography services / Home decor and clothing - see shots here.

Janine is a talented local artisan who furthered MariaCantaBrazil while at Hacker Lab. You can often see her bring her culture to lovingly-made blankets, hammocks and other items at local farmers markets. She also shoots great photos for any event or style.

From the founder: "As a photographer, I lost most of my work due to event cancelations and the quarantine. Also, I was scheduled to have an exhibit of my photography at City Hall to open April 3rd. There is talk to have a virtual opening instead. My open studios during First Fridays at WAL have been canceled and this is the main place where I was set up to sell my photographs, greeting cards, and textiles. I aim to have a shopify e-commerce site launched as soon as I can. Thanks for all the work that the Hackerlab does for our community!

"I love creating images that show the aliveness of the human spirit. I love designing wearable items for the body and the home in partnership with traditional craftspeople of my country - Brazil."
